02 Day Walking Kilimanjaro

02 Day Walking Kilimanjaro specifically includes the best cultural destination near starting point of Kilimanjaro Mountain, this itinerary will bring you to Marangu Village for nature walking safaris.

Day 1;  Arusha/Moshi Town – Marangu Vullage

Pick up from your hotel and meet your guide for a brief then we take a drive to Marangu Village walking at the village, get inside look at the homes and exquisite craft of Mto wa Mbu’s many tribes. You will get walk along the Marangu Village and visiting the local blacksmiths, then head off to the waterfalls, your trek to the waterfalls you will enjoy the scenery of small coffee and banana farms.

Also you will get chance to walk in Marangu Lacal Market,In marangu there are colorful local markets in different location within walking distances held twice a week in where “bananas” selling takes place. Marangu is the largest market for the sale of bananas in the country and attracts buyers from all over Tanzania.

Then after all of these you will walk back to a place of camping for Dinner and overnight.

Overnight ; – Marangu Hotel / Public Camping

Day 2; Marangu Village – Lake Chala – Arusha/Moshi town

After breakfast at the place of overnight we take shork transfer to Lake Chala.

Lake Chala is a beautiful area located on the western side of Kilimanjaro at the Kenya/Tanzanian border, the lake is filled and drained by underground streams. Located near the slopes of Kilimanjaro, the lake is amazingly clear with steep crater walls. It is the deepest inland water body in Africa with the depth of about 3km. Due to the enormous depth boating is recommended. Visitors can hike at the lake and enjoy the beautiful view and fresh air. Aside from plenty of fish, Monitor lizards, baboons, monkeys and common snakes may be seen by chance

After all these we drive back to Arusha/Moshi
