Pick up from your hotel and meet your guide, then a short transfer to the town centre for some shopping. Then drive to Tarangire National Park, which stretches south-east from Lake Manyara around the Tarangire River. Tarangire National Park, with chances to see lions, elephants, wildebeest, zebra, giraffe and many more. Tarangire is famous for having the largest elephants and the largest baobab trees in Tanzania. The park can be visited all year round but is most spectacular during the dry season from June to November when thousands of animals migrate to the last remaining pools of the Tarangire River.

After breakfast we start our journey into the central Serengeti. Serengeti National Park is a world-renowned safari destination, renowned for its abundant population of lions and leopards. The central Serengeti region, known as the Seronera area, is home to a diverse array of wildlife. The Seronera River, a vital water source, attracts diverse wildlife, offering a comprehensive representation of the Serengeti’s species.

Following a hearty breakfast, you will depart for the Serengeti National Park, situated within the expansive grasslands. The Serengeti is widely regarded as one of the world’s most impressive wildlife sanctuaries. You will have an afternoon game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti, where you will have a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles, or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. A picnic lunch will be provided during the day-long game drive. The day’s activities will conclude with a substantial dinner and a restful night’s sleep in your accommodation.

Early morning game drive in the Seronera Area. Before departing Seronera, there is an option to visit the Serengeti Migration Centre and Olduvai Gorge. Olduvai Gorge is a renowned location where our ancestors were discovered. We will then transfer to the Ngorongoro Highlands for an overnight stay.

Early morning adventure in the Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive volcanic caldera, formed millions of years ago when a massive volcano collapsed. The crater is approximately 20 kilometres in diameter and is home to a diverse range of wildlife.Inside the crater, there is a unique ecosystem that supports a high density of animals, including the “Big Five”: lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinoceroses. The diverse habitat, comprising lush grasslands, swamps and forests, makes it a prime location for wildlife viewing. Afternoon lunch at the Hippo Pool picnic site is an unforgettable experience followed by a transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your outbound flight.
