Depart from Arusha after breakfast and head to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park ranks as the 6th largest National Park in Tanzania and covering an area of 2,600 square kilometers, The Tarangire National Park is most popular for its large elephant herds and mini-wildlife migration that takes place during the dry season which sees about 250,000 animals enter the park. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park then continue with an afternoon game drive for the rest of the day.

Morning game drive in Central Serengeti before departing for Northern Serengeti. Arrive in Northern Serengeti and enjoy an afternoon game drive. The Northern Serengeti is a stunning region known for its breathtaking scenery and incredible wildlife, especially during the wildebeest migration. This area is characterised by rolling hills, rivers and open plains, making it a prime spot to witness the dramatic river crossings as the wildebeest migrate in search of greener pastures.

Full day of game drives in Northern Serengeti, exploring different areas and focusing on the wildebeest migration. During this great cyclical movement, these ungulates move through the ecosystem in a seasonal pattern determined by rainfall and grass nutrients. You can’t see these huge herds on the move anywhere else. While other famous game parks are fenced, the Serengeti is protected but unfenced. This gives the animals enough space to make their way back and forth, as they’ve done for millions of years.

Afternoon game drive in Central Serengeti to catch any wildlife you may have missed. More than 3,000 lions live in this ecosystem, over 500 bird species can be seen including Masai ostrich, secretary bird, kori bustard & helmeted guinea fowl and other mammals such as cheetah, spotted hyena & african golden wolf not to mention primates such as yellow & olive baboon & vervet monkey and reptiles include Nile crocodile & leopard tortoise.

Arrive in the highlands and explore the area, possibly visiting a local Maasai village.

Early morning breakfast at the hotel then descent into Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater floor is often filled with herds of wildebeest, zebra and other grazing animals, attracting predators. The area is also renowned for its stunning scenery, with steep walls surrounding the crater and a variety of landscapes within. Exit the crater and begin your return to Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure.
